Badges: All of the badges produced, including the Lockout Tag-outs have been mailed out. If you do not have yours contact the Office and we will make arrangements to either re-issue or replace missing badges. Some pictures were lost due to a damaged disk and need to be retaken.

Note that the Office of Local Union #180 will be staying at the 404 Nebraska Street site at least through the month of DECEMBER. Will let you know soon as possible of the date for our move.

Health & Welfare Notes:
Please note that if you have an addition to your family by way of marriage or birth, you have 30 days from the event to put the new dependents on your plan. Remember there is no additional cost to you under the rules governing multi-employer group plans. Under the definition terms of "dependents", your step-children are covered as well. If you do not put the new dependents onto your plan within the 30 days, you will have to wait until the Open Enrollment period which is August 1st of each year.
Note also that if you have a divorce your spouse is not covered and cannot be covered after the divorce is final. You have 30 days in which to remove the spouse from the plan, and if you do not, you are liable for any expenses incurred by that spouse.
If under a court decision you are obligated to provide coverage for the ex-spouse, you can do so under COBRA for an 18 month period only. If you need more detailed information, please contact the Trust Fund Office at 925 847-6080.

Sad to report that Jackie Thomas, wife of Mark Thomas, died November 11, after a long illness. Our condolences to Mark and his family.

RETIREE NOTES:
The Retiree Club of Local #180 is planning on a three day trip to the Lake County Passion Play in May, 2000. This trip will include a tour of the McLaughlin Gold Mine, Lake County Passion Play, Konocti Harbor Resort, Skunk Train Excursion from Willits to Fort Bragg, Cliff House Restaurant dinner, Mendocino Sightseeing, Boonsville Wineries Tour & Tasting. Please contact Ken Breckenridge for further details at 643-4139.

Representatives from Holland American Cruise Line will be putting on a Panama Canal cruise information meeting December 7, at 10:00 am at 404 Nebraska St., Vallejo, for the Panama Canal cruise scheduled for November 1, through November 12, 2000. If interested please plan on attending.

Remember the Retirees Club Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month and all Retirees and their ladies are encouraged to attend.
