JATC:
Apprenticeship Training Director Deane Rader announced recently that he is planning on leaving his current position and moving onto other endeavors. Therefore the Training Committee is planning on hiring an interim Assistant Training Director until such time as the Committee selects a permanent replacement.  Job announcement is enclosed.

Residential Note:
Please note that if you are doing residential work outside of Local #180's jurisdiction, (Solano & Napa Counties) and  pension contributions are made on your behalf to another Local, your hours can be transferred back to the Solano/Napa Counties Pension Trust.  So make sure that you take care of the transfer by filing Pension Reciprocity forms when you fill out the Health & Welfare Reciprocity.

100 Anniversary: It's never too early to plan.
Local #180 will be having a 100 year birthday party in May 2001. This event will need a lot of planning, and we need to form a Centennial Committee and are asking for volunteers to start the preliminary planning process probably after the first of the year. So volunteers are encouraged to put their name on the list, by calling the Union Office at 707 644-1228.

Condolences to the family and friends of the following:
Jerry Bertrem who passed a way on June 9, from complications following surgery. Jerry joined Local #180 in December, 1998, and was only 48 years old.
Orville Bullock died July 23, at the age of 83. Orville joined Local #180 November 41 1949.
