Brother Adam Pelphrey

 Dear Brothers & Sisters,

It is with deep regret that I announce the loss of our own Brother Adam Pelphrey, who died recently as a result of an accident while working in Berkeley.

Adam was born in Santa Ana, California, on April 26, 1973, and died on March 3. He joined IBEW Local Union #180 on February 13, 1997, and performed signal work for both Steiny & Company, and Mike Brown Electric. He was an avid sportsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, and working on his car.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer of Vacaville, mother, Melinda of Orange County and sister, Amy, of Idaho. A memorial fund has been established, and donations can be made to: Adam Pelphrey Memorial Fund, Attention: Angela Kuivenhoven, Metro Commerce Bank, 5330 Old Redwood Highway - Suite "A", Petaluma, Ca., 94954.

The cause of the accident has not been determined by Cal-OSHA, therefore we can not give you any details. However when they are known, you will be informed as soon as possible. Hopefully the results of the investigation can prevent a future accident to a Brother or Sister.
